About Us Compliments and Complaints We want to know what you think about the services we provide at the Hospice. We undertake patient satisfaction surveys - your stay may not coincide with a survey however we still would welcome your views. We would like to know what we do well and what we could do better. In giving your feedback, you do not have to give your name, although it will help us if you do. If you prefer that your name is not given to the people you are commenting on, we will respect your wish. Everyone likes to know if they are doing a good job and to receive a compliment. Here at the Hospice we want to know if we are providing a good service. If you've experienced good service from any of our staff, please let us know. We will use this information to help improve other areas of the Hospice as well as feeding back to the individual staff members or teams. If you are unhappy about any aspect of the care or service you have received at the Hospice, please ask to speak to the person in charge of the area or department concerned and they will try to resolve your problem immediately. If you cannot resolve your complaint informally, you should write or email the Director of Service Development. In your letter you need to give full details of the concerns that you would like us to investigate. The Hospice has a leaflet detailing information on how to make a complaint, please ask a member of staff if you would like a copy. Information leaflets can also be found in the Hospice Reception and Shornells Day Centre.
