Patient's Guide
The Hospice
is a voluntary Registered Charity, which aims to provide the highest
standard of Specialist Palliative Care for the people of Greenwich
and Bexley.
Our
objectives are to provide:
- Patients and
their carers with high quality palliative care in a caring and
supportive environment so as to enable them to achieve the best
quality of life possible whether their needs be for respite,
symptom control or end of life care.
- For those who enter the final stages of their lives, we strive
to enable them to die with dignity with their symptoms controlled
in a tranquil environment and to provide support for them and
their loved ones in the last days of life.
- Continuing support following death, for as long as this is
required for those left behind.
- Our staff with a working environment that enables them to
give patients the best care possible using up-to-date knowledge
and equipment, underpinned by education training and support
