Woodlands has the capacity to care for up to 19 patients.  There are two four bedded rooms named after our Co-founders, Patricia and Donald, along with 11 side rooms, 10 with en suite facilities.

Each patient has their own wardrobe, bedside cabinet, vanity unit, television and telephone to receive incoming calls. There is also a payphone available for patients and visitors who wish to make outgoing calls.

The unit is staffed by a multi-disciplinary team comprising of Doctors, Nurses and Health Care Assistants, Counsellors, a visiting Pharmacist and Chaplaincy Team.

Valuables

Please avoid bringing valuables, credit cards or large amounts of money into the Hospice as we cannot guarantee their safety.

Smoking

We support a 'No Smoking' policy.  However, we do recognize that for some patients, smoking is an important part of their day and helps them relax.  We therefore provide an outside smoking area for patients. A visitors smoking area is located outside the gates of the Hospice.
