Department of Social, Psychological and Spiritual Care

This service is led by Anthony Boland, Head of Social, Psychological and Spiritual Care, (Direct Dial 020 8320 5829).

It provides a wide range of services for those in the boroughs of Greenwich & Bexley who suffer from a life-limiting illness.

Support is also offered to relatives, friends and carers on an on-going basis. People can be supported either individually or as part of a group.

Counselling Service

• One-to-one Counselling – for those affected by life-limiting illness or those who are bereaved
• Stepping Stones - drop-in day for people living with a life-limiting illness, carers and those who are bereaved
• Wednesday Group - support group for younger people living with a life-limiting illness
• Carers Support Group - for those who care for someone with a life-limiting illness
• Brest Friends -Breast Cancer Support Group
• Spouses/Partners Group - support group for those whose husband, wife or partner has died

• Helping Hands - support for people to access benefits they are entitled to
