We are pleased to be able to advertise an opportunity to join the Housekeeping Team at Greenwich and Bexley Cottage Hospice, providing a Housekeeping service to Patients, Staff and Users of the Hospice as follows:

VACANCY
for
Weekend Housekeeper

Hours: 8 hrs per week (Saturday – 4 hours, and Sunday 4 hours)
Salary £10.81 (weekend rate)

The post holder will be responsible for maintaining the high standard of cleanliness required at the Hospice, including emptying of bins, sweeping, mopping floors,  vacuuming, polishing, cleaning toilets, re stocking toilet/.washroom paper products and a provision of a laundry service to meet the needs of the Hospice. 

Knowledge of Health & Safety, with previous cleaning experience preferably in a Health care environment would be advantageous. 

The successful candidate will be able to work using their own initiative to ensure that the standards expected at the Hospice are met and exceeded.
