Lottery Promotion Volunteers

The Greenwich & Bexley Cottage Hospice Lottery was launched on the 8th May 2009. This is an exciting opportunity for us to raise a substantial and sustainable income on a regular basis.  The success of the lottery is dependent on it being successfully promoted. We feel that this is very much achievable: with the support of the whole hospice community, we will easily reach our goal. To engage as many people as possible we are looking for Lottery Promotion Volunteers to help us create awareness and promote the new GCBH Lottery in the local community.

Each lottery volunteer will play an active role in the development and success of the lottery by promoting the lottery to the general public and recruiting members at:

• Hospice shops
• other retail outlets
• Hospice events (both in-house and out in the community)

All Lottery Volunteers will be fully trained on how the lottery works so that they can talk knowledgeably and confidently about it when promoting.
