The Chief Executive is responsible for the strategic development and implementation of the strategic plan. 

The day to day running of the Hospice has been devolved to a ‘Management Team’ with members coming from all areas of the Hospice service.

Hospice Management Team

The importance of the Management Team is to engage all departments in understanding the overall objective of the Hospice service.  The team is currently comprised as follows:

Peter Butler, Fundraising Development Manager

Kate Heaps, Director of Service Development

Howard King, Fundraising Manager

Harjit Landa, Financial Controller

Jenny Matthews, Human Resources Manager

Stuart North, IT Manager

Betty Nyman, Retail Manager

Barbara Oakes, Volunteers Manager

Carla Rattigan, Head of Outreach Services

Ellen Tumelty, Senior Sister, Woodlands

Julie Williams, Facilities Manager

Board of Management

A Board of Management governs the Hospice. The members are volunteers and come from all walks of life and represent all sectors of the community.  It is currently comprised as follows:

The Board meets every two months and sub committees meet more regularly.

The sub committees are Finance and Clinical Governance and Investment.  These committees have devolved responsibilities and report back to the Board at the full meetings.
